For those who don´t like April Fair too much...

If you look at this photograph carefully, my questions won´t be difficult to answer. It is a memorial plaque. Some of the information on the plaque has been deleted to make you work harder.

The April Fair in Seville has its origins in a cattle fair which took place at the end of the 19th century. Nowadays, it is situated in the neighbourhood of Los Remedios and resembles a small city with long streets decorated with coloured  paper lanterns, where different groups set up their tents, called casetas, drink, sing and dance together. At any hour of the day you can see women dressed in typical flamenco dresses, horses and carriages moving up and down the streets. There is also a special area with an amusement park where children can enjoy the fair rides. Because this is a city with a long bullfighting tradition, there are also bull fights every afternoon at 5.
The April Fair begins each year with the ceremony of the lighting of the main portal to the Fair called "el alumbrado" and concludes with a firework display on Sunday at 12 o´clock.

 People who read are more tolerant and comprenhensive, as they have learnt to walk on other people´s shoes while reading.

                              


World Book Day is celebrated on the 23rd of April, which is the anniversary of Cervantes, Garcilaso de la Vega and William Shalespeare´s death (William Shakespeare died on April 23, 1616 based on the date of the Julian calendar of his time. Based on the Gregorian calendar, the date is May 3rd, 1616)

In the UK, World Book Day is held annually on the first Thursday in March, as 23rd April clashes with Easter school holidays. 23rd April is also the National Saint's Day of England, St George´s Day.
  
St. George is the patron saint of England. His emblem, a red cross on a white background, is the flag of England, and part of the British flag. 

St George was a brave Roman soldier who protested against the Romans' torture of Christians and died for his beliefs. 

One of the best-known stories about Saint George is his fight with a dragon. But it is highly unlikely that he ever fought a dragon, and even more unlikely that he ever actually visited England. Despite this, St George is known throughout the world as the dragon-slaying patron saint of England and also the patron of Scouts.

 Easter is the oldest and the most important Christian Festival, the celebration of the death and coming to life again of Jesus Christ. Easter in UK is the time for holidays, festivals and a time for giving chocolate Easter eggs.

 Chocolate eggs are given to children. The eggs are either hollow or have a filling, and are usually covered with brightly coloured silver paper. Small chocolate eggs are hidden for the children to find on the traditional Easter Egg Hunt. In recent years this game has been linked to the Easter Bunny, which only arrived in England relatively recently. Easter cards, which arrived in Victorian England, are usually sent with the drawing of a rabbit and an egg.
