This post is especially dedicated to those who write me and visit my blog from a foreign country. I know that many of you would like to learn about my region and its customs.
Seville, my city, belongs to a region called Andalusia. Andalusia is in the south of Spain and is famous for its friendly people, its climate, food, beaches and landscapes. Every February 28th we celebrate and commemorate the 1980 referendum on the Statute of Autonomy of Andalusia, in which Andalusia became an autonomous community of Spain.
The last schoolday before the 28th of February we celebrate rhe Andalusian Day at school with a typical breakfast which consists of bread and olive oil, we do performances, read Andalusian poets, play our anthem, dance and have a good time.
