There are some spelling changes:
- If there is one vowel followed by one consonant at the end of the adjective, we often double the consonant.
- wet → wetter / wettest
- dry → drier / driest
- nice → nicer / nicest

Shadows settle on the place, that you left.
Our minds are troubled by the emptiness.
Destroy the middle, it's a waste of time.
From the perfect start to the finish line.
And if you're still breathing, you're the lucky ones.
'Cause most of us are heaving through corrupted lungs.
Setting fire to our insides for fun
Collecting names of the lovers that went wrong
The lovers that went wrong.

Darling, darling, oh, turn the lights back on now
Watching, watching, as the credits all roll down
Crying, crying, you know we're playing to a full house, house
No heroes, villains, one to blame
While wilted roses filled the stage
And the thrill, the thrill is gone
Our debut was a masterpiece
But in the end for you and me
Oh, the show, it can't go on
We used to have it all, but now's our curtain call
So hold for the applause, oh
And wave out to the crowd, and take our final bow
Oh, it's our time to go, but at least we stole the show
Least we stole the show x 5
Darling, darling, you know that we are sold out
Kisses fading, but the band plays on now
We're crying, crying, so let the velvet roll down, down
Watching, watching, as the credits all roll down
Crying, crying, you know we're playing to a full house, house
No heroes, villains, one to blame

It´s difficult to fight for your freedom when you love your chains.
I'm giving you a night call to tell you how I feel
I’m gonna drive you through the night, down the hills
I'm gonna tell you something you don't want to hear
I'm gonna show you where it's dumped, but have no fear
There's something inside you
It's hard to explain
There's something inside you boy
And you're still the same
For a brave new world...
"A birthday is just the first day of another 365-day journey around the sun. Let´s enjoy the trip"
Do good things come in threes, fives or fours?
Drag me down
I've got fire for a heart, I'm not scared of the dark
You've never seen it look so easy
I got a river for a soul and baby you're a bow
Baby, you're my only reason

A song I like for a cloudy Monday morning. An experiment on a lyric video, homemade with Marta´s help, of course. Always learning.
Hope you like it.
Por cierto.....
Superadas ya las 100.000 visitas al blog....
GRACIAS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Song: England (by The National)
Agosto. Toca escapar.
Gracias...
Open them, open them, slowly
Say what you see, tell me what you see, if there´s something,
a spring, brief and fleeting in your hands.
Time for the end, define the trace
tune, regroup pieces
in my collection of medals and scratches.
It's here, who saw it
dancing like a bow on a fan?
Who would have thought that there are no Magi without some coal.
There are still some vices to perfect on strange days
we will uncover them in intimacy with the toe.
It's here, who saw it,
dancing like a bow on a fan?
who would say there´s no treat without blur.
The future dressed in the emperor's new clothes
Who would have thought that there are not Magi without some coal
We still have many more gifts to open
turning coins discovering a profile
cellophane begins and echo ends.
Every life has a soundtrack, every moment has a song. This song has been with me in my best moments and it´s part of my life. It´s my way to say goodnight tonight.
Sweet dreams...
Sweet dreams...
Love this song. Absolutely.
Sweet dreams...
Sweet dreams...
The amazing world of our dreams is hidden to everybody, our own private virtual world, where anything can happen.
You forget half your dream within 5 minutes, 5 minutes more and 90% of it is gone forever. Sometmes we feel sorry about that, sometimes relieved.
Inception, a great science-fiction film with a wonderful soundtrack by Hans Zimmer

This song always gives me a boost to face a hard day. A magic formula for a hot morning and much to do.
Off we go!!!!!!
Off we go!!!!!!
Any plans for tonight at half past ten?

It´s not a suggestion. In fact, I´m going to read the first chapter in my bed in five minutes. I have no idea whether I´ll like it or not. I´ll tell you in a couple of weeks.
By the way...have you got your own summer reading list? Do you want to share it with me?
Send me your titles!
Sweet dreams...
It 's not my intention to give publicity to a beer brand. In fact, I never drink alcohol, you see. However, this short film by Alejandro Amenabar, which has become a TV advert, is really nice.
Go ahead!!
Go ahead!!
1.- Make the best of your time!
Organiza tu tiempo. Demasiado tiempo, no crees?
When OneRepublic released ‘I Lived,’ they dedicated it to a 15-year-old teen named Bryan
Warnecke who lives with Cystic Fibrosis, a disease thay slowly shuts down the lungs.
On this video Bryan says: “I’ve been doing my treatments everyday of my life, so to me, it’s
just one of those things that’s normal.” We then see footage of Warnecke biking up a mountain
and some home videos of him growing up. Warnecketo reveals that he is only expected to live until
he’s 36 years old.
“It’s just one of those things that really makes you appreciate life. It makes me appreciate where
you are, as a person,” he says. “I want to make the most out of my life and have as much fun as I
possibly can and my biggest fear is not being able to do that.”
As you can see, you shouldn' t overestimate your problems or say you can´t do something.
By the way....
Can you change Bryan's words into reported speech? Remember, never say you can' t ! ;)

Hope when you take that jump, you don't fear the fall
Hope when the water rises, you built a wall
Hope when the crowd screams out, they're screaming your name
Hope if everybody runs, you choose to stay
Hope that you fall in love, and it hurts so bad
The only way you can know is give it all you have
And I hope that you don't suffer but take the pain
Hope when the moment comes, you'll say
I did it all
I did it all
I owned every second that this world could give
I saw so many places, the things that I did
With every broken bone, I swear I lived
Hope that you spend your days, but they all add up
And when that sun goes down, hope you raise your cup
Oh, I wish that I could witness all your joy and all your pain
But until my moment comes, I'll say
I did it all
Life is full of unpredictable and strange surprises.
One of the greatest film soundtrack ever. I couldn´t stop crying while watching this film some years ago. I have to say that I still do, every time I listen to its music.
