MC Escher

If all roads lead to Rome, how can I leave Rome?

We´ve been talking about art  this week. I´d like to show you a fascinating artist.
 Do you know M.C. Escher?

Maurits Cornelis Escher (1898-1972) was born in the Netherlands. He is one of the world's most famous graphic artists in the world.

M.C. Escher, during his lifetime, made 448 lithographs, woodcuts and wood engravings and over 2000 drawings and sketches. Many of these sketches were later used for various other lithographs and woodcuts and wood engravings.
He played with architecture, perspective and impossible spaces. In his work we recognize his personal observation of the world around him and a reality inspired by mathematics and his own fantasies.
