A lively song for today...
A good friend of mine, told me that perhaps you´d like this film: The Breakfast Club. The plot is about five students at a high School in USA who spend a Saturday in detention together in the library, where they are ordered not to speak or move from their seats by the Principal. They have to remain there for eight hours and fifty-four minutes and write an essay about who he or she thinks they are. Gradually they will open up to each other and realize that they are all deeper than their respective stereotypes.
Interesting, isn´t it? Pay attention to the background music, by Simple Minds ;)
Don't You Forget About Me (Simple Minds)
Hey, hey, hey ,hey
Ohhh...
Won't you come see about me?
I'll be alone, dancing you know it baby
Tell me your troubles and doubts
Giving me everything inside and out and
Love's strange so real in the dark
Think of the tender things that we were working on
Slow change may pull us apart
When the light gets into your heart, baby
Don't You Forget About Me
Don't Don't Don't Don't
Don't You Forget About Me
Will you stand above me?
Look my way, never love me
Rain keeps falling, rain keeps falling
Down, down, down
Will you recognise me?
Call my name or walk on by
Rain keeps falling, rain keeps falling
Down, down, down, down
Hey, hey, hey, hey
Ohhhh.....
Don't you try to pretend
It's my feeling we'll win in the end
I won't harm you or touch your defenses
Vanity and security
Don't you forget about me
I'll be alone, dancing you know it baby
Going to take you apart
I'll put us back together at heart, baby
Don't You Forget About Me
Don't Don't Don't Don't
Don't You Forget About Me
As you walk on by
Will you call my name?
As you walk on by
Will you call my name?
When you walk away
Or will you walk away?
Will you walk on by?
Come on - call my name
Will you all my name?
I say :
La la la...

Ingredients:
•4 large, fresh eggs, measured in a jug
•Equal quantity of milk to eggs
•Equal quantity of all purpose/plain flour to eggs
•Pinch of salt
•2 tbsp lard, beef dripping or vegetable oil
Preparation:
•Heat the oven to the highest temperature possible, however, do not exceed 450F/230C or the fat may burn.

My Czech friend, Veronika, has sent me this fantastic video of the 600 anniversary show of Prague Astronomical Clock. This building projection is really unbelievable. It´s hard to believe that it´s just a projection...Awesome. Play the video using full screen.
(Thanks a lot, Veronika. A big kiss from Spain. I´ll never forget your effort to take us to Prague that day...)

New Year’s Eve in London is all fun and celebration. Last Friday London’s famous New Years Eve fireworks were launched off the 135 metre London Eye, projecting colour and light that could be seen throughout the capital.
