Hyde Park
Hyde Park is one of the largest parks in central London and famous for its Speaker's Corner. The park is divided in two by the Serpentine. With over 4,000 trees, a lake, a meadow and horse rides, there is always something for everyone in it.
London Eye
The Merlin Entertainments London Eye (known more simply as The London Eye, and also known as the Millennium Wheel), at aheight of 135 metres (443 ft), is the largest wheel in Europe, and has become the most popularpaid tourist attraction in the United Kingdom,visited by over three million people in one year. At the time it was erected
in 1999.
Big Ben
Big Ben is the nickname for the great bell of the clock at the north end of the Palace of Westminster in London, and is often extended to refer tothe clock or the clock tower as well. Big Ben is the largest four-faced chiming clock and the third-tallest free-standing clock towerin the world. It celebrated its 150th anniversary in May2009 (the clock itself first ticking on 31 May 1859), during which celebratoryevents took place.
Buckingham Palace
Buckingham Palace is the official London residence of the British monarch. Located in the City of Westminster, the palace is a setting for stateoccasions and royal hospitality. It has been a rallying point for the Britishpeople at times of national rejoicing and crisis.
Changing the Guard takes place at 11:30 daily from May until the end of July and on alternate days for the rest of the year, weather permitting.
National Gallery
The National Gallery in London, founded in 1824, houses a rich collection of over 2,300 paintings dating from the mid-13th century to 1900. It is on Trafalgar Square. Its collection belongs to the public of the United Kingodom.
Harrods
Harrods is a departament store located on Brompton Road in Knightsbridge, London, England. The Harrods brand also applies to other enterprises undertaken by the Harrods group of companies including Harrods Bank, Harrods Estates, Harrods Aviation and Air Harrods.
